Celebrating Excellence at the Essex Countywide Awards 2024
On December 3rd, two exceptional members of the Swiftclean team attended the prestigious Essex Countywide Awards at the stunning Braxted Hall Estate in Witham. This annual event celebrates the outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses across Essex, and this year, we were thrilled to have not one but two of our own recognized for their hard work and dedication.
Before the event, Martin Hembling, and rising star, Lewis Hodgetts, were invited to meet the judges and showcase why they were front-runners for the awards of ‘Businessperson of the Year’ and ‘Apprentice of the Year’. Their professionalism and passion clearly made an impression, as both were soon informed that they had been shortlisted for the coveted titles.
A Night of Celebration and Achievement
Lewis was awarded the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award, an incredible achievement that speaks to his commitment, growth, and potential. Meanwhile, Martin, who has been an instrumental part of Swiftclean’s success, was shortlisted for ‘Businessperson of the Year’—a recognition of his leadership and contributions to the company’s growth.
Lewis’ Journey and His Well-Deserved Recognition
Lewis has only been with Swiftclean for just under two years, but his impact has been nothing short of remarkable. From his exceptional handling of reception queries to his ability to seamlessly build relationships with clients, Lewis has continuously demonstrated his dedication to both internal efficiency and customer satisfaction.
His former team leader, Richard Crews, had this to say about him:
