- July 14, 2026
At Swiftclean, we believe in making a positive difference both within our communities and beyond the workplace. As part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, a team of ten employees, led by Managing Director Gary Nicholls, took on the challenge of climbing Snowdon to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
Representing departments from across the business, the team tackled the demanding Pyg Track before returning via the Miners’ Track. Despite soaring temperatures and challenging terrain, the group showed remarkable determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the day. The challenge also provided a valuable opportunity for colleagues to build stronger relationships, support one another and create lasting memories outside of their usual working environment.
The effort was made even more rewarding by the incredible support received from friends, family, customers and colleagues. As the sponsorship donations continued to rise during the challenge, the team remained motivated by the knowledge that every step was helping a cause that has touched the lives of so many families across the UK.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised an impressive £2,494, significantly exceeding our original fundraising target of £1,500. We are extremely proud of everyone who took part and grateful to all those who donated. The Snowdon Charity Challenge perfectly reflects Swiftclean’s values of teamwork, commitment and giving back, while supporting the vital work carried out by Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
