As a leading provider of specialist ductwork cleaning, and water hygiene services, we specialise in hosting the BESA Grease Hygiene Technician and Operative courses as well Legionella awareness and control courses. David has over 15 years of experience in the water hygiene industry, starting as a field service technician carrying out water quality analysis of cooling towers, steam boilers and domestic hot and cold water systems. David has held senior positions within the water hygiene industry both operationally and commercially. He has extensive knowledge of the HSE ACoP L8/HSG274 and holds a HABC Level 3 Legionella control for Responsible Persons qualification. David is a qualified manager with a CMI Level 5 diploma in Management and Leadership. Before embarking on a career in water hygiene David was a football coach for West Ham United Football Club.
Abbey has 12 years of experience in the industry, starting as a service coordinator before being promoted to Head of Operations and now leads the Shared Services team. She is also a member and vice president of the East Anglia Regional BESA Committee, as well as being on the BESA Council, and has been teaching this course for approximately a year. Abbey is a qualified manager with a CMI Level 5 diploma in Operational Management, her teaching background includes being a qualified riding instructor and tutoring English Literature and Language up to GCSE level, as well as training our internal team in the Service Delivery Department in previous roles at Swiftclean.
Richard has 10 years of experience in the industry, starting as a grease hygiene operative, before moving onto the technician level and working within service delivery alongside the role of Training Manager. He also has extensive experience working on the Legionella side of the business as a Risk Assessor. His current role as Training and Compliance Developer encompasses auditing, training, development, and delivery of services within the office environment as well as on site with clients. Teaching has been a theme throughout his life and career; from tennis coaching during his college years to working alongside the School Nursing Service within the NHS.
