The role of a Duct Cleaning Supervisor will involve

  • Being responsible for controlling the workload of the compliance team by co-ordinating the job onsite with written programmes and setting job priorities
  • Ensure that sufficient manpower is available to carry out the work required and ensuring that the team are informed of the duties required
  • To supervise the Duct Cleaning Operatives to ensure that the work is carried out according to the required standard/specification, in accordance with training received and skills acquired
  • In conjunction with the Regional Supervisor, assist in 'on the job’ training of new operatives

The main areas of work are

  • Ventilation cleaning
  • Kitchen extract fire safety cleaning
  • Water tank cleaning, coating and refurbishment

Due to the nature of our work, you will need to be flexible with your working hours which will include days, evenings, nights and occasional weekend work.

A great opportunity has arose for an experienced individual to join a passionate team. To lead and drive the Kitchen & Air compliance field teams, ensuring that all Kitchen & Air contracts assigned are delivered within agreed time scales and in line with required industry standard and specifications.

The main compliance areas of work being:

  1. General Ventilation Cleaning & Surveys
  2. Fire Damper drop testing & remedials
  3. Kitchen Extract Fire Safety Cleaning
  4. Site surveys
  5. Site and staff audits

Job Specific Functions

  • Direct line management of Compliance Supervisors – including management of any HR related tasks, such as sickness, performance reviews, disciplinary etc.
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day project management of larger contracts.
  • To ensure that on site work is carried out with due regard to H&S Regulations.
  • To be on call to support field staff with any on site issues out of hours.
  • Provide technical support and guidance within all main compliance areas of work.
  • Support the sales team with technical advice and attend site meetings/surveys where required.
  • To provide detailed accurate job updates to admin team.
  • Conduct site audits to assess field staff performance levels in line with company standards and industry specifications.
  • Provide ‘on the job’ training of new & existing supervisors and operatives, ensuring regular review and development plans put in place where required to support and upskill.
  • To supervise the Compliance Supervisors and Operatives to ensure that the work is carried out according to the required standard/specification.
  • Provide support with any on site issues, access problems, concerns etc. working with the client and admin teams to provide solutions for customer satisfaction.
  • Identify on site efficiencies and support the implementation of these.
  • To upsell and / or multi sell on site – commission package to be given.
  • Supporting induction process of new starters.
  • To ensure positive working environments are fostered for onsite personnel.
  • Foster, cultivate and maintain working standards within their team and in addition expected to always maintain good working relationships. Instilling Swiftclean company values of Respect, Honesty & Ownership.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our current team. Your role as a Legionella Risk Assessor will involve -

Job Specific Functions

  • Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments, Temperature Monitoring, Service Inspections and various other water related services where required - i.e. Tank Cleaning, TMV Servicing, Closed Loop testing etc.
  • Carry out site surveys for air and water quality of associated buildings, according to company method statements and procedures
  • Ability to use Visio system to produce schematic drawings (training where required)
  • Organising appropriate equipment necessary for the tasks in hand, and ensuring all equipment is functional and within calibration limits
  • In conjunction with the Stores/Workshop Manager, is responsible for ensuring that all general and specialised equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition. Ensuring that where equipment is unserviceable due to 'fair wear and tear’ it is replaced, and where deficiencies occur, or damage to equipment occurs through individual negligence/carelessness, the matter is reported to the Head of Surveying for investigation.
  • Arrange travel where necessary, to and from clients’ sites
  • Liaise and support the sales team on important site issues, remedial works required and contract opportunities
  • Liaising with client/site personnel with regards to work progress/issues
  • Ensuring any progress issues or problems on site are communicated to the office immediately
  • Daily communication with the office/coordinator to give a 'washdown’ update on progress with jobs for the day
  • Information to be recorded in full, via the use of a Digital Compliance System
  • Writing up reports using company format, entering site data and forming conclusions/recommendations
  • Ensuring adherence to company procedures
  • Supporting other members of the surveying team when possible
  • Although the Legionella Risk Assessor is not a budget holder, they are responsible for ensuring that their job is completed within the allotted costs.
  • Liaise with office if jobs can be planned to ensure better productivity

We will provide everything you need to do your role to a high standard including -

  • Vehicle recovery service contract
  • All necessary equipment to conduct all services
  • All necessary PPE
  • On the job Training as required
