Meet the Team – Collette – Service Delivery

Welcome to the next in our series of ‘Meet the Team’ where we speak to the newer members of Swiftclean and find out a few fun facts about them!

We’re delighted to welcome Collette to the Swiftclean team. Having recently joined our Service Delivery department, we caught up with Collette to learn more about her background, what brought her to Swiftclean, and a few fun facts outside of work.

What brought you to Swiftclean?

I recently relocated from London to Southend with my partner and 9-year-old son, Aaron. We wanted to move out of London and be near the sea!

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Learn every language in the world

What was your first job?

I worked at McDonalds when I was 16 and worked my way up to assistant manager at the time.

What book or movie have you recently read/seen and why would you recommend it?

I watched the series ‘ From’ it was a zombie American science fiction horror series – I would recommend, it was really unpredictable!

Are you a morning or night owl?

Night Owl

How do you spend your time outside of work?

I love shopping – both instore and online, I should probably have shares in Amazon I do love a nice coffee as well, and as a family we’re quite spontaneous, booking days out on a whim! 

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?

Only surround yourself with people who are going to lift you higher

What’s your favourite travel destination?

Madeira- I am really looking forward to going back there soon – we went last year; usually I like to travel to different places to see somewhere new, but Madeira was somewhere I wanted to go back to.

How have you felt about the job in the first few days?

The main thing that stood out is that everyone has been really lovely – and very welcoming.
