What’s the best thing you did recently?

The best thing I did recently was rescue an elderly woman. Her car broke down on a dual carriageway at rush hour, and she was alone. I’ve worked with cars for years, so I suspected the clutch had burnt out… I managed to get her and her car to safety whilst we waited for her husband and recovery. 

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I’d love to learn how to build my own car. 

What was your first job?

My first job was when I was 15, I used to get the school bus to stop outside the garden centre every day so I could work there for 2.5 hours after school and on a Saturday. 

What book or movie have you recently read/seen and why would you recommend it?

I recommend the book ‘The Secret’ (Rhonda Byrne). If you haven’t already, give it a read, the law of attraction is powerful 🙂 

What’s something you’re planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done?

I’m planning on doing the 3 peaks challenge in the next year. Mountain climbing is one of my hobbies

What’s something that recently made you smile?

My little nephew telling me he loves me. 

What is your 15 minutes of fame?

I sang at the Royal Albert Hall with my school choir when I was 10! 

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?

Best advice I’ve ever heard is ‘Let them’

What’s your dream job?

That would be building/driving Porsches.

What has surprised you about the job in the first few days?

What surprised me was how big a company Swiftclean is and how personally involved each member of staff is… I didn’t feel like just another number to add to the payroll. I’ve never been at a company where the director is genuinely interested in your addition to the company and makes it known too! It makes you very much want to work hard and succeed.
