What’s the best thing you did recently?

I travelled around Norway and Iceland with my wife and my 6 year old daughter

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I’ve always chased everything I’ve ever wanted to learn. I’m currently learning how to program and play synths.

What was your first job?

Not counting the paper round I had when a teen…Professional Wrestler

Coffee or tea? Milk in first or last?

Tea, milk in last you heathen

What book or movie have you recently read/seen and why would you recommend it?

The Killer, directed by David Fincher. Excellent character study of why someone would kill for a living and the effect it would have on them. Career best performance from Michael Fassbender in the lead role.

What fictional place would you like to visit?

Either Barsoom from Edgar Rice Burrows’ John Carter of Mars stories (I read them as a kid) or Night City from Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk setting.

What’s something you’re planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done?

Slowing down a bit!

What’s something that recently made you smile?

My daughter’s recent fascination with musical theatre.

What is your 15 minutes of fame?

I wrestled on local Japanese TV for six weeks in 2012.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?

If you have something on your mind, try wearing a pair of shoes a size too small for you for a week or so. If whatever was bothering you is still on your mind, then it’s worth taking steps to negate it. If it’s no longer on your mind, it wasn’t a big issue to begin with!

Screenwriter
